Logo and Corporate ID

Anything from simple logo designs to corporate identification programs always requires an understanding of the function and purpose each design must fulfill. Research is always necessary for the marketplace, industry and, just as important, the personality behind the assignment. For ID programs, a thoughtful system must be replicatable.

Logo Design and Corporate ID Programs

Here More Than Anywhere Else, The Design Must Be Timeless

Peter Gunn Flyer The Waterway logo was in desparate need of overhaul when arrived at the factory. Within weeks I established this new marque and a complete corporate ID program.
PM Industries Promotional A new design agency: Eyeon Communications, needed a fresh, new logo treatment. The firm dissolved but the logo remains one of my favorites. This is the rendered version.
Sysco Mailer WYNGS is an acronym for When You Need Group Support - an organization helping traumatic injury victims. This logo was created during my tenure as one of the seated board members. It's still in use today.
Polybag_ExactInk This is one of several design submissions for Love Wins Church. It is intended to show how a symbol of love can be heroic in this medallion-like setting.
Ink Station Carton These three examples are among the dozens and dozens of logos created for many different and divers companies and organizations. They represent: Insurance, Web Hosting, and Mortgage Servicing
Refill Kit Clamshell This whimsical logo for Excel took the acronym for the company and by turning it on end created an image that illustrates the core business: dental products.

Logo Design and Corporate Identity Programs

A complete corporate identity program should encompass virtually every perceived application of the corporate logo and be able to adapt with as few exceptions as possible to the original design. Moreover, the right program can be used by anyone because it is simple and straight-forward in development and execution. Logo work must communicate and evoke certain emotions and responses for it to be successful over a long period of time.
